Camping Oasis

INKAMPU means “camp” in Xhosa, one of 11 official languages in South Africa. Inkampu is located near Al Madam in Sharjah just a few kilometers away from the Oman border, just 60 minutes drive from Dubai, 90 minutes from Abu Dhabi and 70 minutes from Al Ain. At INKAMPU the vision is to offer an organised camping experience for people to enjoy. Visitors will still need to bring their own camping gear and do their own camp set up They will be allocated a dedicated camp area when doing their online booking. INKAMPU is not a glamping location where everything is prepared for you. There is a bit of work needed. Once set up sit back, relax and take in the scenery and views of the Hajar mountains or take a walk in the dunes. You can also the family to visit some attractions in the area.

Bookings should be done online. Rates and packages for the sites are available to view in the booking section. Each booking will have a AED100 deposit* (refundable). There are no facilities for day visitors or picnics, the facilities at Inkampu are there for campers who have booked a campsite.

INKAMPU will have facilities available onsite. These are, serviced toilets and showers located around the camp site. In case visitors forgot to pack the essential ice or firewood, the INKAMPU Shop will have you covered. Located around the venue are social braai/BBQ areas. These may not be prebooked and are available on a first come basis. Each area will offer a braai pit and facilities to cook on a fire. Water points will be located nearby (but not for drinking). Take the opportunity to gather with family and friends and enjoy the desert evenings.
