Hallo daar! Ek is Alicia Botha, stigter van en terapeut by Bellissima Skin and Beauty – jou velsorgspesialis gebaseer in Joondalup.

Ek het ’n passie vir die vel; hoe dit werk en hoe om dit te kry om te lyk soos dit moet: gesond en gloeiend! So ek sal jou altyd leer hoe om vir jou vel te sorg en ek sal jou skoonheidsreis hier by my salon bestuur.

Ek het in 2013 na Perth verhuis van Suid-Afrika af en hou baie daarvan om in hierdie pragtige stad, wat ek nou huis noem, te bly. Ek het meer as 10 jaar gelede as grimeerkunstenaar begin werk, hoofsaaklik deur grimering vir troues te doen. Ek het ’n geruime tyd by ’n modelagentskap gewerk as hulle persoonlike grimeerkunstenaar – hier het ek grimering gedoen vir modelportefeuljes en saam met hul gereis om hul grimering vir modevertonings te doen. Ek het ook saam met verskeie fotograwe gewerk aan allerhande verskillende projekte. ’n Jaar na ek met my studies in grimeerkuns begin het, het ek ook begin om skoonheidsterapie te studeer. Kort ná ek afgestudeer het, het ek ’n salon in my tuisdorp oopgemaak. Ek het ook as ’n rondreisende skoonheidsterapeut gewerk wat sommige van die kleiner dorpies in my area bedien het. Ek het voortdurend daarna gestreef om verder te studeer om ’n velsorgterapeut te word. Ek sal nooit ophou leer nie. Ek is ook gekwalifiseerd in mediese naaldterapie en verskeie behandelingsmasjiene – insluitend CACI, die nie-chirurgiese ontrimpeling en fibroblastbehandeling.

Hi there! I’m Alicia Botha, founder of and therapist at Bellissima Skin and Beauty – your skincare specialist based in Joondalup.

I have a passion for skin; how it works and how to get it looking the way it should: healthy and glowing! So I will always educate you on how to care for your skin and I will guide you on your beauty journey here at my salon.

I moved to Perth from South Africa in 2013 and I love living in this beautiful city that I now call home. I started out as a makeup artist over 10 years ago, mainly doing makeup for weddings. I spent some time working with a modelling agency as their personal makeup artist – doing makeup for modelling portfolios and travelling with them to do their makeup for fashion shows. I have also worked with various photographers on all kinds of different projects. A year after commencing my makeup artistry studies, I also set out to study beauty therapy. Once fully qualified, I opened a salon in my home town. I also worked as a mobile beauty therapist, servicing some of the smaller towns in my area. I have continuously striven to further my studies to become a skincare specialist. I will never stop learning. I am also qualified in medical needling and various treatment machines – including CACI, the non-surgical facelift and fibroblast treatment.
